Alexis Charalambous earned his BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cyprus in 2020. For his undergraduate thesis, he designed and built a mini submarine for archaeological exploration. During his studies, Alexis was the team leader of the first formula student team from the University of Cyprus, and took part in two exchange programs, Erasmus studies at Aristotle University, and an internship exchange program at the Texas A&M University. His scientific interest are on the fields of Renewable Energy Sources, Modeling and Computer Science. Currently working as a special scientist at University of Cyprus and FOSS Research Centre for Sustainable Energy.
