Lamprini Papargyri is a Special Scientist at the Photovoltaic Technology laboratory, FOSS Research Centre for Sustainable Energy, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the University of Cyprus. At the same time, she is a PhD student at the department of Civil and Environmental engineering of the University of Cyprus. She graduated with first class honours from the department of Civil Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. During her studies, she received many awards and scholarships for her academic performance. Her research interests lie within the area of mechanical stability of Photovoltaics. More specifically, she is working on the impact of microcracks on the performance and durability of Photovoltaic modules.
