Georgios Tziolis has received a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering with First Class Honours in 2018 and a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical Power Engineering with Distinction in 2019 from Northumbria University at Newcastle, UK. From December 2019 to December 2020, he worked as an Electrical Engineer at AVAX-TERNA JV in the project ‘Mediterranean City of Dreams’ in Limassol, Cyprus. He is currently a PhD student with a partial scholarship (“EVAGORAS”) and a Special Scientist at FOSS Research Centre for Sustainable Energy, at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Cyprus. His main research interests include Renewables, Smart Grids, Energy Storage Systems and Electric Vehicles.
