Loizos obtained BEng (Hons) and PhD degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Manchester in 2016 and 2020 respectively. His research was focused on the fields of high voltage engineering and condition monitoring and diagnostics of insulation mediums used in power network assets. He is currently a special scientist at FOSS Research Centre for Sustainable Energy.
