Alexandre Delode is a PhD candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Photovoltaic Laboratory, FOSS Research Centre for Sustainable Energy of the University of Cyprus. After a licence of fundamental physics at University of Paris-Saclay (FR), he got a double degree from the University of Wollongong (AUS) with the Master of Electrical Engineering - Studies with a major thesis in Power Systems and Supélec (FR) with the degree of Engineer. He worked for nine years mainly as a power system engineer for different leading energy companies (EDF, ENGIE, ENERCON). He has realized more than 100 international technical and grid connection studies concerning mainly cable and reactive bank sizing, protection coordination, controller setting and energy assessment. His current research interest is about microgrid control. Furthermore, his research extends to co-simulation and real-time simulation.
